Islamic system confirms to postpone Syria – OIC source

JEDDAH: Worldwide ministers at a conference of the Company of Islamic Collaboration (OIC) decided on Thursday to postpone Syria from the international system, an OIC resource said, further identifying Chief executive Bashar al-Assad.
“The period just finished. The ministers implemented the solutions, such as the revocation of Syria,” the resource informed Reuters.
The move by the OIC, a system including 56 member declares plus the Palestinian Power that is designed to signify Islamic passions on the world stage, is its reaction to Assad’s withdrawal of a 17-month rebellion.
It will have more representational than practical significances for the Assad govt which has never put focus on belief and which will continue to enjoy assistance from Iran which compared the choice to postpone Syria at the OIC.
“By suspending account, this does not mean that you are moving toward solving a problem. This means that you are eliminating the problem. We want to really take care of the problem,” Iranian Worldwide Reverend Ali Akbar Salehi informed correspondents before the conference in Jeddah, Saudi Arabic.
The ministers were having basic speaks before a two-day OIC peak in Paradise starting on Wednesday where leads of govt will take the official choice on Syria, probably on Wed.
Salehi’s feedback indicated towards a likely diplomatic series in Paradise between Sunni Islamic declares, such as Saudi Arabic, that have announced assistance for Assad’s competitors, and Shi’ite Islamic Iran – a expression of increased sectarian stress across the region.
