INDIA: The situation of veteran acting professional A.K. Hangal, confessed to the Asha Parekh Medical center here the other day, is quite crucial, his son said Saturday.
"Right now my father`s situation is little serious, can`t say anything. He has a respiration issue and is in ICU right now," Vijay Hangal informed IANS.
"He is in the ICU and is situation is crucial," he included.
Hangal was hospitalised following a significant hip bone fracture.
"He was hospitalised at Asha Parekh Medical center. He dropped down at house when he was going to the bathroom. He had a hip bone fracture. Intervention therapy was about to occur, but during check-up many more problems came up so they could not do the surgery therapy. There was over-crowding in his chest area so individual therapy was also began for that," said Vijay Hangal.
The 98-year-old A.K. Hangal, associated with the Hindi movie market since 1967, lately showed up in a part in the tv display ‘Madhubala’.
He is best known for his tasks in ‘Sholay’, ‘Lagaan’ among other movies.
