Madhur Bhandarkar disappointed with TV ban on A-rated films



INDIA, MUMBAI: Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar is dissatisfied with the censor board's choice to ban testing of mature films on tv. He seems the manufacturers will reduce a lot of cash due to this.

"This is incorrect as the main issue with the income we get is from the satellite television programs. Obviously the manufacturers will reduce a lot of cash. Moreover, we can't create all the films with U/A or U document," Bhandarkar informed correspondents here on Wednesday.

He said that the Movie & Television Producers Guild of Native indian is already operating on the methods. "I am sure it will be settled very soon."

The film maker was here to market his future film Heroine with its cause celebrity Kareena Kapoor. The film, launching Sep 21, goes into the behind-the-scenes lifestyle of an celebrity in the Native indian film market. It also functions Arjun Rampal and Randeep Hooda.

Kareena has also brought up argument to the censor panel choice. "It's incorrect because I think every film is a different type of film. We create different styles of films, with different administrators. Producers spend because they think the film has something," said Kareena.

"For me there is nothing like an A or U/A film document. You change to other programs like Celebrity Globe and Celebrity Movies and they have crazy scenarios too," she included.
