BCCI suggest Dravid and Gambhir’s titles for Padma Awards



INDIA, NEW DELHI: The BCCI has made the decision to suggest the titles of former Native indian Leader Rahul Dravid and operator Gautam Gambhir’s titles for the famous Padma Bhusan and Padma Shri prizes respectively.
According to a BCCI formal, Chief executive N Srinivasan and Assistant Sanjay Jagdale were expected to talk about the problem and ahead the titles to the Govt.
“Dravid and Gambhir’s titles were previously mentioned and Chief executive and Assistant were to take any contact in this respect. The last time frame for processing nominations was Aug 15 and the titles have been sent” a BCCI Official informed PTI these days.
Dravid was previously in range to get the Rajiv Khel Ratna prize but the only cricketer in the board Ravi Shastri was not existing during the conference to create a powerful situation for the former captain. Shastri said he did not get any party invitation for the conference.
Dravid has obtained more than 24,000 worldwide operates with over 13,000 operates in 134 Assessments and nearly 11,000 operates in 344 ODIs. He has obtained 36 Analyze hundreds of years and 12 hundreds of years in the reduced edition.

Sachin Tendulkar is the only cricketer to get the second maximum private honor in Padma Vibhusan while nine cricketers such as Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Vinoo Mankad and Lala Amarnath have obtained Padma Bhusan.
