USA: Though not many may find it easy to prevent stinging on down hard into a candy, a research has foundchocolates cause an impact on the mind just like that of opium.
Findings of the research by Alexandra DiFeliceantonio of the School of Michiganand her group, released in the US journalCurrent Chemistry, have also tossed light upon many evaluations between overweight people anddrug lovers, Everyday Email revealed.
In the research, a natural mind substance known as enkephalin- an endorphin with identical qualities to opium- increased as mice started to eat M&M chocolates.
When a medication was used to activate the mind place launching the substance, the number of M&Ms consumed more than more than doubled.
Study head DiFeliceantonio said the outstanding conclusions revealed evaluations between and medication lovers and the overweight.
"This (study) means that the mind has more comprehensive techniques to make people over-consume benefits than formerly thought. The same mind place examined here is effective when overweight people see meals and when medication lovers see medication scenarios," she said.
