INDIA: Harmeet Singh is the only Indian under-19 gamer chosen in the Relax of Indian group for the Zal Irani Cup go with to be performed against Ranji Award champion Rajasthan at Bangalore from Sept 21 to 25.
The Mumbai left-arm spinner’s choice was predicted following the all-round part he performed in the latest ICC under-19 Globe Cup in Sydney. Whether he creates the XI will be known only at the throw because the selectors have also chosen Pragyan Ojha.
Harmeet along with other key under-19 gamers such as B. Aparajith and Sandeep Sharma have also created it to the Indian ‘B’ group for the N.K.P. Salve Opposition sequence to be performed at Rajkot from Sept 29 to Oct 2.
Bengal which won the Vijay Hazare Award last period will be the third group in this season's 50-over Opposition sequence.
