KARACHI: Authorities of Pakistan’s press watch dog have said the broadcasting of an future Native indian film is topic to an acceptance from the censor panel.
Officials of Pakistan Digital Media Regulating Power (Pemra) have said they never sent a mail to quit broadcasting Salman Khan’s future film “Ek Tha Competition,” which features Pakistan’s spy organization, a review in Periods of Native indian said on Wednesday. However, the film’s launch in Pakistan continues to be topic to the Main Board of Film Censor’s acceptance.
“We have not launched any mail to any wire proprietor regarding this film. We problem characters to wire providers through wider training. It is in our law that no drama/cartoon films can be broadcasted against the sovereignty of the nation,” Pemra Common Administrator Fakhruddin Mughal was estimated as saying by the review.
Pemra’s declaration was supported by proprietor of Karachi’s Atrium Movie, Nadeem H. Mandviwalla, who was adament that until the material of the film is known, there can be no ban placed on displaying the film in Pakistani cinemas.
“It has not been prohibited, neither has the govt said anything about prohibiting it. It is a booking and that will be cleaned when the film comes out,” Mandviwalla informed TOI.
Earlier this season, Saif Ali Khan starrer “Agent Vinod,” which was crucial of the spy organization ISI, was also prohibited from being launched in Pakistan. Movies entrepreneurs say they will stick to whatever plan the govt chooses on regarding the discharge of “Ek Tha Tiger” in Pakistan.
