Maruti Suzuki bags 500 workers; to begin functions from Aug 21

INDIA: In a move likely to stimulate strong labor responses, nation's major car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki Indian on Friday announced cancellations of services of 500 frequent workers and resumption of normal functions from Aug 21 at its assault hit flower at Manesar, Haryana.
"We have released cancellations is aware to 500 frequent workers. We plan to raise the lock out from Aug 21 and continue functions at the service in stages,’’ Maruti Suzuki Indian (MSI) chair, R.C. Bhargava told correspondents here.
The organization said cancellations is aware have been released to frequent workers who were supposedly include din the Sept 18 aggressive occurrences which led to the loss of life of a mature MSI professional, Ashwani Kumar and left nearly 100 others harmed. Maruti Suzuki Indian had announced a lock out at the Manesar flower on Sept 21, declaring the protection and well-being of its workers were critical to the organization.
