FORD supposed to reduces cost of Traditional top-end version by up to Rs 70,000




INDIA: Car manufacturer FORD Indian has reduced the cost of the top-end version of its basic automobile Traditional by up to Rs 70,000 by presenting new petrol and diesel petrol options.


"The new version 'Titanium' of the FORD Traditional automobile will substitute the formerly current top-end choice 'SXi'. The new version comes with nine new functions," FORD Indian Vice Chief executive (Marketing) Anurag Mehrotra said.

The cost of the new petrol version begins at Rs 6.86 lakh, while the diesel petrol one begins with Rs 7.82 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Previously, the Traditional SXi was priced at Rs 7.56 lakh for petrol version, while it was Rs 8.5 lakh in the case of a diesel petrol choice.

Mehrotra said the organization has been able to reduce the prices due to higher localisation stage of about 85 percent and also "commonality" of parts such as the wireless with its small car Figo.

The petrol version of the Traditional is operated by a 1.6 liter website and a 1.4 liter website pushes the diesel petrol version.

"While the diesel petrol version of the Titanium profits 32.38 km per liter under Automobile Research Organization of Indian test conditions, the petrol version is ranked for a petrol performance of 21.27 km per liter," the organization stated.

Commenting on the release, FORD Indian Chief executive and Handling Home Eileen Boneham said: "We have been enjoying our customers to offer a value undertaking with smart systems and best-in-class functions with the release of the Titanium version in our FORD Traditional range."
